Introduction
Social emotional learning has been shown to reduce misbehavior in the classroom, while simultaneously increasing academic achievement. There are three bands of SEL lesson plans: Grades K–2, Grades 3–5, and Grades 6–8. The lessons aren’t merely labeled by grade- they’re developmentally appropriate for each group. While there is room to personalize it, sample language is included to make meaningful connections from one component to the next and land the critical points throughout the lessons.
