How does instructional coaching work?
- Supports individuals find the right mix of passion, purpose, and performance.
- Individuals are observed for 20-30 mins each & participate in a one-on-one reflection conversation.
- Goals are established through identification of strengths and future aspirations.
- Feedback on progress towards goals is discussed with each observed individual.
- Administration is provided general updates, maintaining the confidentiality of the relationship.
Coaching Options
In-Person Coaching
- Coach will observe 8-10 teachers a day for 20-30 minutes each.
- Coach will work with the educator to determine goals and monitor progress towards those goals.
- Coach will keep a running record of progress for each staff member.
- Coach will regularly update administration while remaining cognizant of the trust formed through the coaching relationship.
Distance Coaching
- Coach will REMOTELY observe 8-10 teachers for 20-30 minutes each.
- Coach will work with the educator to determine goals and monitor progress towards those goals.
- Coach will keep a running record of progress for each staff member.
- Coach will regularly update administration while remaining cognizant of the trust formed through the coaching relationship.
