“Students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

– John Maxwell

Before Dana began her Positive School Solutions journey, she had over eighteen years of teaching and coaching experience in both urban and suburban settings.

When she found herself in the throes of her first few years teaching, Dana decided there MUST be a better way. Her humble, but desperate realization ignited a lifelong fire to solve the issues in her classroom once and for all. After years of researching pedagogy and Positive Discipline, Dana put the knowledge into practice in her own classroom.

After seeing the positive impact the approach had on her students in both classroom and special area settings, Dana knew she had to share her knowledge and passion with other teachers. She never wanted another teacher to feel as hopeless and desperate as she did in those early years which is why she created the Positive School Solutions Courses.

When she’s not working, you can find her in New Jersey where she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, creating, and doing home improvement projects.

Dana’s experience as a coach and trainer, paired with her research and experience in a variety of school settings, make her a trusted voice in schools across the country.
